Last sunday was open day at the Technical University Munich and the math department participated mainly with their math museum ix-quadrat.
The museum is a rather small room with many experiments around symmetries, arithmetic, and math in general. New this time were wooden sticks for building self supporting structures and the children did amazing things with it:
